Students who are new to yoga can either start with a pre-registered 7 week yoga session to lay the foundations of yoga, or you can join us for a drop-in class (see below).
New to yoga and wanting to learn the basics in a consistant weekly class with the same group of people each week?
Try a pre-registered session:
  • Hatha Beginner: This class lays the foundations for yoga postures, breathing techniques, core strength and relaxation, suitable for all levels of fitness.
  • Therapeutic Yoga for Backs: We recommended beginning with this gentle but in depth course to build integrity in your spine and joints if you have chronic back issues or limited mobility concerns, before starting other classes.
New to yoga and looking for an appropriate drop-in class? Join us for one of these!
PLEASE NOTE:
if you are planning to join us for a drop-in class, there is no need to phone or book in advance. Just come 15 mins before the start of class, and please fill out a waiver if it's your first time to the studio.
  • Gentle Yoga Flow is a blend of mindful, uplifting flow yoga and deep, nurturing restorative yoga. This rejuvenating class balances the mind, soothes the heart and inspires the spirit.  All levels. Thursdays 7:30 pm
  • Hatha Flow Fusion - you'll learn how to move deeper into classic Hatha yoga postures through the power of your conscious thought and breath. Explore several flow sequences complemented with challenging variations. All levels are welcome to enjoy this delicious fusion of self-awakening and vigorous yoga. Mondays 7:35 pm
  • Yoga Flow combines breath and movement to create a continuous flow from posture to posture to strengthen and stretch, building a strong foundation for our more advanced flow classes. It is invigorating and peaceful, suitable for active beginners. 10 am Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:30 am Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11 am Saturdays, 7:30 pm Sundays
  • Chakra Yoga Flow is a fluid, mixed level class which incorporates yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mantra (sound), to balance the seven major energy centers within the body, known as chakras.  This class brings to light the body's subtle energetic system, providing insight into how yoga techniques affect the chakras, and how imbalances within the chakras (excess or deficiency) can manifest in daily life, including relationships, finances, emotions, self esteem, illness, intuition, and universal connection. Tuesdays 7:30 pm & Sundays 11:15 am
  • Yin Yoga is a gentle, slow-moving practice that creates strength and flexibility by lengthening the connective tissue of the body. It is an excellent complement to all styles of yoga, and all physical activities or sports. People with tight hip flexors, hamstrings and who have lower back aches will benefit greatly from yin yoga. Sundays 1 pm, Mondays 5 pm
  • Pilates Fusion combines the latest in core training, Pilates mat exercises and evolved Pilates exercises to enhance core conditioning.  The focus is on breath and precision movements which create strength and flow from the center of the body outward. Wednesdays 6:15 pm, Saturdays 9:30 am
