    Akhanda® Restorative Flow is a blend of mindful, uplifting flow yoga and deep, nurturing restorative yoga. This rejuvenating class balances the mind, soothes the heart and inspires the spirit. All levels.

  • hatha beginner yoga

    Hatha Beginner is a gentle class, providing a thorough introduction to the basics of yoga, including postures and technique, breath and awareness, core strength and flexibility, as well as meditation and relaxation. Pre-registered class sign-up

  • therapeutic yoga for the back

    Therapeutic Yoga for the Back is taught from a holistic perspective, guided by the principle that health goes beyond the physical body, tapping into the wisdom and intelligence of the whole being. Participants are inspired to journey into an exploration of the areas of the body causing discomfort or pain by relaxing into a series of balancing, strengthening, and flexibility enhancing postures. Students learn to listen to the messages of the body that manifest in stiffness or pain, and to employ healing practices into their daily lives. No experience with yoga necessary.

    This gentle class is suitable for most limited mobility concerns, as well as back issues.

  • candlelight yin flow

    A practice that combines elements of slow  flow, Yin yoga, restorative yoga, deep relaxation, and guided meditation while practiced in candlelight. This class will help you unwind from your day, and bring  balance to your busy life. Dissolve tension and experience a deep sense of  well-being through a series of poses aimed to open the body and mind to a  greater state of ease and calm. All levels are welcome. When possible, we will add live acoustic music to this class.

  • hatha flow fusion

    Hatha Flow Fusion You’ll learn how to move deeper into classic Hatha yoga postures through the power of your conscious thought and breath. You’ll learn several flow sequences complemented with challenging variations. All levels are welcome to enjoy this delicious fusion of self-awakening and vigorous yoga. Be prepared to relax and sweat. This class offers the best of both worlds!

  • revitalize! yoga

    Revitalize! Yoga melts away the stress of your day with a revitalizing yoga practice! We will begin with gentle pranayama (breathwork) techniques, working up to heating the body through an active and inspiring asana practice set to music. We’ll end class with some restorative yoga poses to refresh your energy, and meditation to refresh your mind, preparing you for a relaxing and revitalizing evening.

    Sunrise Yoga In this class, we open our bodies to the new day with an energizing yet mindful yoga practice, fostering strength, flexibility and balance. You’ll leave class feeling refreshed and centered, ready to start your day. All experience levels welcome. Pre-registered class sign-up

  • yin-yang yoga fusion

    Yin-Yang Yoga Fusion is about balancing effort with ease. A well-rounded yoga practice is balanced by combining the Yang active aspect of our nature with our receptive Yin qualities, creating a deep integrated practice. Starting with pranayama (breath) and leading into Yang we will explore energizing and heat-building vinyasas (inspired by Vinyasa/Ashtanga yoga). We will then slip into Yin by exploring long slow holds (inspired by Hatha/Restorative yoga), releasing connective tissue, opening the joints and enhancing energy flow and distribution within the body. This class will have you sweating and relaxing. Experience the balance of both!

  • yin yoga

    Yin Yoga is a gentle, slow-moving practice that creates strength and flexibility by lengthening the connective tissue of the body. Connective tissue, also called fascia, is found everywhere in the body and is one of the most difficult tissues to stretch due to its plastic nature. However, supple fascia is vital to good health and general muscular condition. Yin Yoga is an excellent complement to all styles of yoga, and all physical activities or sports. People with tight hip flexors, hamstrings and who have lower back aches will benefit greatly from yin yoga because it will bring space and openness to these tight areas.

    Yoga Flow combines breath and movement to create a continuous flow from posture to posture to strengthen and stretch, building a strong foundation for our more advanced flow classes. It is both invigorating and peaceful, suitable for active beginners.

  • yoga hips

    A traditional yoga practice using breath, sound, and movement to explore and open the hips.  Increasing flexibility of the hips can support circulation to the feet, release lower back pain, allow for a smoother gait and more comfort in seated meditation.  Also, hip openers may support the release of tension, stress and emotion that can be held within the tissues of the body.  For this reason, a safe space will be provided where there will be time in each posture to breathe, feel and explore your hips and the layers within.  This class is suitable for all levels of flexibility and may benefit those that sit for long periods in the day, those looking to deepen their practice and/or increase their flexibility

  • akhanda (holistic) yoga®

    Akhanda Yoga® is an integrated system of yoga conveying the diverse aspects of the yoga tradition, harmonizing breath and movement in a balanced sequencing of asana (posture), pranayama (breath work), relaxation, mantra, and meditation. Principles of yogic philosophy and life style are woven through the classes, connecting students to a larger view of the unbroken lineage of yoga. These classes are inspired by the philosophy and teaching of Yogi Vishvketu and theWorld Conscious Yoga Family.

  • arm balances & inversions

    New Class! A vinyasa style class focusing on one or two key balances and inversions per class. More educational than constant flow, alignment and engagement are key areas of this class. Offered to all levels from beginner to advanced. Prepare to be challenged and learn!

  • yoga-core

    Yoga-Core This mixed level class offers boost. Students are guided through core strengthening yoga sequences, deep ujayii breath and other pranayama (breath) techniques to cleanse, tone and support the body from the core outward. Learn fundamental techniques for bringing core integrity into your yoga practice. While this class is mixed level, it is a more vigorous class.

  • hot yoga flow

    Energize, and strengthen your body! Enjoy a challenging flow class in a heated room (88+ degrees F) to help stretch and detoxify muscles. This class will include pranayama techniques as well as a full and satifying flow practice, supporting cleansing and detoxifying from the inside out. Come well-hydrated, bring a water bottle, bring a towel, and be ready to sweat, stretch and smile!

  • vinyasa flow

    Vinyasa Flow includes breathing exercises, sun salutations, and a continuous flow of postures (asanas) consisting of standing, sitting and lying series, designed to create balance and restore all systems to health. It is a vigorous class suitable for students with some previous yoga experience.

  • yoga for strength

    Yoga for Strength This is a challenging yet playful class, designed for fit beginner through intermediate level students. Students are guided to approach strength from the core outward, focusing on standing and balancing poses, as well as targeting specific areas each week to increase flexibility. All of this is harmonized by rhythmic deep breathing and humorous, spiritual insights, providing a surprising, fun and invigorating afternoon.

    Meditation is a simple and accessible way to drop beneath the surface of life (and thought) to the peace that underlies even the most stressful circumstances and busy lives. Meditation has been proven not just to alleviate anxiety but to support increased health – lowering blood pressure, improving immune function, and improving sleep. Join us as we explore varied and enjoyable methods to access internal peace. Over the weeks we will explore methods of basic pranayama (regulation and direction of the breath) and a different approach to meditation using various senses and abilities (sight, sound, taste, visualization, inquiry, etc.). The purpose of the course is to provide you with a wide breadth of possible approaches so you can discover through your own experience in class what works for you and then build a custom home practice from that.   • mom and baby yoga

    Mom and Baby Yoga focuses on stretching, toning, and enjoying the freedom of movement in our post-partum bodies, in the company of our babies- asleep or awake! Parents can enjoy the benefits of stretching out tired muscles, easing backaches, while particular attention is paid to abdominal and pelvic health and restoration. No prior yoga experience necessary. Come and enjoy this special time with your baby, introducing them at an early age to body awareness and a healthy body relationship.     Yoga for Pregnancy- This nourishing fluid class isdesigned for pregnant woman to strengthen and increase flexibility, to support body, heart and mind throughout pregnancy and childbirth. Pre-registered class sign-up

    Ages 5 to 11 years:

    These are not your typical yoga classes! Children learn to stretch, breathe, and relax in a playful way, creating a lifelong foundation for well being. Other benefits include building strong, limber, and healthy bodies, improving social interaction, and developing focus, concentration, and attention span.
    Children will learn invaluable skills to help them face the challenges of growing up, and to develop physical and emotional strength. They will cultivate self esteem and self acceptance through a non-competitive activity, and most importantly, they will have fitness fun.
    This class combines traditional hatha yoga postures and pranayama (breath control) with educational themes to engage the “Whole Child” through learning. Your child’s class will include yoga, games, meditation through art, and relaxation.

  • teen power yoga

    Teen Power Yoga is a dynamic flowing class which quickly builds strength, flexibility, and focus while weaving in components of yoga philosophy as related to a modern teen’s life and challenges. This practice is great cross-training for athletic teens, as well as for teens looking to get fit in a non-competitive environment. Relaxation and meditation are included at the end of every class. This class also develops awareness, posture and coordination, helping teens to make life choices from a place of clarity and strong self-esteem. Maximum benefits are acheived by attending both weekly classes. For ages 12-18. Pre-registered class sign-up 

  • dance around the world

    In Dance Around the World children take an imaginary plane ride to different countries to learn about their cultures, costumes and dance forms.  Children are exposed to various forms of music that accompany each form of dance (Hawaiian, Bellydance, Bollywood, African, Jazz, Ballet, Irish,and Creative Dance). It is a fabulous and fun way to introduce dance into your kid’s world!!! Children have a chance to wear costumes (ie. hip scarves or hula skirts) and use props (ie. poi balls or ribbons).  Please include a nut-free snack and drink for 75 minute classes (Fridays only), the last 15 minutes children will have a snack, do a craft or color. These classes are longer than normal in order to synchronize with the adult yoga class).  For fall, winter  and spring classes, children will learn simple choreography as well as imaginative movement. Fridays Ages 3-6, barefeet or dance shoes please, no socks.

    Healing Breath Therapy is a healing system based on the natural intelligence of the body. This therapy utilizes the power of the breath to heal and balance the mind and body combining techniques of yogic breathing and shamanic breathing.     Isabelle has been using The Work of Byron Katie since 1999. She has attended four 9-day Schools for the Work with Katie, two of them as staff. Since 2009 she has offered numerous workshops, daylong seminars, private sessions, and on-going series that help people learn how to end their own suffering through self-inquiry.
