🌟300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training🌟FREE Info session!
By request, we’ve added one more information session with our 300 hour teachers. At 7:00pm December 5, youll meet Isabelle, Krista & Amanda over zoom, and have an opportunity to learn about our upcoming training as well as ask questions.

Now in its 5th year, the Prana Yoga Studio 300 hour (Advanced) Yoga Teacher Training has evolved, expanded, and deepened, just as we have. This modular program includes 7 core weekends that make up 200 hours; the remaining 100 hours is comprised of electives that you can choose from a variety of course options at Prana. 

Core Modules:
Holistic Yoga Immersion (January 21-23)
Advanced Anatomy (February 4-6)
Advanced Alignment, Asana & Pranayama (February 25-27)
Advanced Philosophy (March 3 - April 21)
Advanced Sequencing (March 25-27)
The Yoga of Energy Balance & Healing (April 22-24)
Yoga Evolution (May 27-29)

As the air chills, snow replaces leaves and quiet replaces liveliness, it can be easy to forget what is rich within us in the midst of external starkness. In these times it is important to show yourself kindness, and such compassion will overflow into the cups of others. Some nurturing practices we encourage at this time are:

-Self massage with oil (Abhyanga in Sanskrit). We reccommend rubbing your body down with almond, sesame, or avocado oil for grounding and comfort.
- Increased ginger intake (perhaps grated ginger in your morning tea to stimulate bloodflow, energy flow, and immunity)
-Load up on wool! Increase coziness with breathable material that keeps your warm.
-Once youre bundled up, take a walk! Cold is great for bringing you into your body and the present moment. Face the season head-on and feel invigorated as crisp, prana-rich air fills your lungs.
-Practice yoga! Reattune to the vitality of your own body, even if the outside world seems duller. Connect with your community, and, for extra nourishment, we recommend trying one of our humid warm room classes!
