CHOD with Lama Pema

Venue: Prana Yoga Studio

✨Chod✨ is a Tibetan Buddhist practice that uses chanting, drumming, and instruments to help us cut through ego and obstacles so we can experience our own true nature. We are thrilled to be bringing Lama Pema to Edmonton for this one-night only special event. Lama Pema is the abbot of Thrangu Monastery (thrangumonastery.org) in Richmond, BC.

Immerse yourself in the sounds of this ancient practice. Let it melt away stress, insomnia, and anything that limits you from fully experiencing your inherently pure nature.

We’ll gather around Lama Pema to experience this unique practice. After he’s finished, there will be time for questions. Finally, Prana Yoga teacher Jane Marshall will talk about The Compassion Project, a registered Canadian charity serving the remote Himalayan valley of Tsum, Nepal. Lama Pema was born in Tsum.

    Light refreshments to follow.
Cost: $25 in advance or $30 at the door
