Grief is a natural and normal reaction to loss of any kind, including but not limited to:
loss of self
loss of marriage
loss of a person or pet
The Grief Relief Series will create a sacred space where people can come together in community and connection. Participants will learn tools to support them, such as breath work, asanas (postures), mantras, mindfulness, and meditations, nurturing body, mind, heart, and soul.
We begin to heal in community, and creating a shared space can help move you from feeling stuck to ongoing processing. While there is no getting over grief, with support, tools, connection, and community, grief can heal. There is hope for a brighter future.
Prana Yoga Teacher has trained in the Grief Recovery Method. She has overcome many losses in her life including the loss of her best friend, who completed suicide in 2010, and several other friends and family members. This lead her to deep grief and trauma healing. She is also the wife of a Retired First Responder, a mother of a child with complex medical needs, and a survivor of many traumas. She will share her experiences and best practices to help people navigate the waves of grief.
