    About your teacher:

Silke Stamp encountered the transformative power of Veda chanting in 2018 when she was living in Germany and working as a social worker. It initiated a comprehensive physical healing process and a gradual but total change of her life, environment and vocation. Her chanting studies brought her to South India, where she had the opportunity to visit the ashram of Sri Ramana Maharshi at the foot of the holy mountain Arunachala in Tiruvannamalai. Her response to Sri Ramana and Arunachala was both indubitable and irresistible; grace opened a way for her, and she has been living a short walk from Sri Ramana’s ashram for over 5 years now. She has done two extensive Veda chanting teacher trainings (one with Shantala Sriramaiah and one with Madam Menaka Desikachar), and has been teaching students both 1 on 1 and in small groups, in person and via Zoom, for the past few years. She continues her studies and devotion to the Veda chanting tradition with her teacher Arvindji in the world renowned lineage and teaching tradition of the Challakere Brothers, based in Bangalore, India.
