“I had the chance to go to a wonderful class last night at the studio. Beforehand, I was a bit nervous about attending a public indoor class but after seeing the work you guys are putting into the distancing and sanitization of the studio, I can say that my worry disappeared. It is so good to feel the energy of the people at the studio and the live voice of the instructor. It filled me up and relaxed my mind. Thank you so much. Can’t wait for the next class. ❤️ “ – Russell
We are overjoyed with the re-opening of the studio and so grateful for the staff and students who have been participating at Prana. With the extra space and a slower refined pace, we are integrating nicely back in to a new way of running the studio. Here’s everything you need to know about cleaning protocols, special air filters, pass options, livestreams, Prana Yoga TV & more. Before coming in, please read below:
Effective August 1, 2020, masks are required for all indoor public spaces in Edmonton. This means that you will need to bring a mask, wear it within all common areas, and take it off for class time. After class, please place your mask back on before leaving the yoga space. You may bring a bag to store your mask or leave it at the top of your mat folded over.
Yes yoga has the green light! We have enjoyed welcoming our community back into our sweet yoga home. It’s a delicate and exciting time as we navigate the waters of running the studio in our changed world. We’ve been busy behind the scenes creating a safe and welcoming environment for you to return to.
We have implemented stringent guidelines and cleaning protocols for our teachers and staff to follow, and there are lots of new guidelines for our students as well. Please read all details below so we can work together to ensure the health, safety and enjoyment of you and our entire team.
We have started with a limited schedule and plan to expand it quickly as the classes fill. Based on the survey results, some of you will continue to practice at home with the livestreams, while some of you are ready to get on your mat at Prana. For now all classes will be 60 min to allow plenty of time to sanitize between classes, and to ensure there is a spacious flow to enter and exit the building. We will be running Regular and Warm classes (with added humidity, heat panels & fireplace). Hot Yoga will return in the fall. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we adapt and change over these next few weeks.
We are cleaning and sanitizing with an all natural hospital grade disinfectant between every class, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the studio. We have touchless soap dispensers and paper towels available in the washrooms. You may wear masks in the common areas (not required) but not during your yoga practice. Vinyl floor stickers designate distancing in reception and yoga rooms.
