🤎 CACAO CEREMONY | YIN YOGA | SOUND | MEDITATION

Join Alyssa for a delicious Cacao Journey followed by a sequence of Yin Yoga postures. Together we will indulge in a cup of ceremonial grade Chuncho Cacao sourced from a small local farm in Peru. These beans contain potent, heart opening medicine that will have you leaving the space feeling expansive, connected and in touch with your inner emotional realm.

The practice of Yin Yoga will allow for intentional stillness as your awareness drops into the tissues of your body… breath creating flow, community cultivating oneness and music bathing you in vibrational frequencies.

The Cacao Blend we will enjoy together contains whole native beans, panela, vanilla & chile. It will be brewed with oat milk, maple syrup & coconut butter. Please advise the Studio of any allergies at least 3 days prior to event.

Experience the practice of Yoga Nidra, a yogic method that merges consciousness with the subconscious in a dream-like state. This session will lead you through gentle breathing exercises, body scanning, and visualizations to guide you into the theta brain state, harmonizing your autonomic nervous system, which comprises the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems. The practice will be complemented by a sound healing session using singing bowls.

Sound therapy has been utilized for millennia as a healing technique and has continued to evolve over time. The sound immersion will feature the therapeutic frequencies emitted by traditional and modern singing bowls, with minimal use of other instruments. This assortment includes Tibetan singing bowls and crystal quartz singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks and other instruments promoting equilibrium in the physical, mental, and energetic aspects of the body.

What to Bring to the Event:
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Yoga mat
- Water or tea
- Journal and pen
- Extra bolsters, blankets and pillows (the studio provides one bolster and one blanket)

Let the enchanting sounds of crystal bowls, chimes, and vocals wash over you, as you embark on a path of personal growth and healing.

Flower Essences can help to balance the body’s energy system, resulting in both physical and emotional healing. Every essence has unique therapeutic qualities. Notably, flower essences are gentle and safe to use for everyone.

The word “Reiki” is derived from two Japanese words – “rei,” which means universal, and “ki,” which means life energy. There are many benefits Reiki including reduced stress and anxiety, improved sleep, increased feelings of relaxation and well-being, and a boost in the immune system. Reiki can also help to alleviate physical pain and promote physical healing by encouraging the body to release tension and toxins.

Reiki is a gentle and non-invasive form of therapy that can be practiced on people of all ages and conditions.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring:

🦋 We know that today’s children are facing far greater stressors than ever before and we also know the benefits of yoga and mindfulness for ourselves and children. Sara is an early childhood educator and experienced yoga teacher who has created a teacher training program that infuses developmentally appropriate yoga and mindfulness practices that are rooted in self-awareness and social-emotional development.

🦋 Through activities, games, and even stories you can transform circle time, gym time, and even outdoor time into a highly enriching mindfulness and movement class for the children in your care. This training will offer you the beginning steps into creating meaningful and engaging yoga and mindfulness classes, learning how yoga for children differs from yoga for adults.
